I found the link to this site in the Q & A section on the new carolina skiff website. I wish that I had found it a lot sooner. I bought my first carolina skiff (semi V) last august and am going to pick up my new dlv tomorrow. I checked out all the threads on the dlv and think it is just what I want.

Googled Carolina Skiff, just curious about what kind of rigs were on the market right now. Saw the site. Joined up and contributed immediately. No regrets. Great site to communicate with other owners and enthusiasts.

The guys at bayracer showed me brokebeaches downrigger mounts here. I almost bought one of the other skiffs before I saw that.

I did a lot of research on my feet, talking to CS owners in person. Bought my skiff and about 3 months later got the time to play around on the INTERNET. Plugged in Carolina Skiff and found the forum, read a few posts, and joined immediately. Kicked myself in the buff ever since wishing I had found CSO before buying the boat. I would have still bought the same boat but would have do some other things differently.

I think you you meant "Kicked myself in the BUTT" not "Buff" rotflmao

Seriously,
I wish I had CSO available at my finger tips when I bought my first skiff, and why/how this site came to be.

When researching skiff's, the only site I could find was the MSN site. While it had great members ,the software was very bad and posting photo's, editing posts, spelling,,,etc was non existent. Thus I decided to create this website.

Seems like making our way to the spot just below Carolina Skiff itself on Google, has been good for us, and easier for most to find*thumbsup*
