Raymond, after seeing this on Ebay, it got me to thinking. Can you do something like that but taller and with bars to hold the standard CS flip flop cooler seat in order to raise it to 32" seat height? Cheap/poor mans leaning post. I love ya leaning post but, I love the flip flop for storage. As far as I'm concerned it could just as well be welded aluminum as st st.

Lakebiker,
Thats a great idea! With the seat raised, you could build a tackle station with drawers to fit underneath the seat. Nothing Else Matters was going to do something similar. We are very busy right now but when I get a moment, I'll see what I can come up with, on the cheap!

Damn NEM, that's nice but I've got two problems. I've still got the track on the deck and, I really don't have the equipment (or know how) to do that kind of work. *018**018*

Well, i have 1" space under the box for water to drain, it is easy to make that space higher to fit your needs.
Actually, the idea with the extended legs i really like.

HEY GUYS Just my 2 cents worth .
You could also make that bottom pull out kind of a front foot rest for a more coumffy seat and slide it closed for stand up ?
few more updates you'll need a paton :-0)

Thanks for the photos of your under-the-seat cabinet. Great design and workmanship. And Lakebiker, thanks for getting him to post them.
