On the transom photo, looks like they went an inch or so above the water line.

Thats to cover the scum line and for added extra weight.

They de-waxed, and primed it. I forgot to ask if the primer is a different color then black. That way I can see when and where the paint starts wearing away.
Hey Harry, I understand adding an inch to cover the scum line, but added weight?

In case the wife kicks me out and I have to sleep in it........ ;D
In that case you might want to trade up for a larger skiff and add the sleeper sofa option :P
