Thats a cool project. Is that a 4 stroke Nissan? I always liked the Nissan/Tohatsu outboards. What size front deck is that?

Looking good, where ya going be doing your fishing? From the looks of the rig behind the boat, you do some serious surf fishin too. Give us some details........
and good to see another member come aboard. :)

The Bronco is for the Padre Island national Seashore, about 15 minutes from my house, and the boat is for the upper Laguna Madre, (5 minutes) here in Corpus Christi Texas. I love the 4 stroke Nissan, had it for 2 years now and recommend them highly, pushed the boat as rigged before at 34 mph, havent gotten to see how it does yet with the redistributed weight, but will some evening this week. The decks are all homemade, the only thing CS is the hull!

You live 15 minutes from PINS? Man, I'm jealous. I'm up in Austin and haven't been able to get down that way as much as I used to. The J16 is looking good, though.

It has come a long way from the first picture. You will probably learn to hate those rod holders on the side of your boat. I tried somthing like that once. I just kept running into them or snagging something on them. Nice work though.. Love the jack plate.
