All motors are better today than they have ever been. I bet when this all shakes out the Zukes will be the king on the CS's.

Thanks...it matches my 225 HO now. I bought the stipe kit from Evinrude's web site:

It had several choices when I built the poll. Not to bad for the first try! I may build a few this week since so many members responded to it!!!

Brian, ya' done good for the opening of the new site. Great topic and poll.
If I might humbly suggest... a few more polls in such a short timespan might be a bit overwhelming. Why not pace 'em out over time? I've enjoyed watching the responses on this one, but wouldn't find it as pleasurable trying to keep up with multiple poles. It's like trying to watch 3 ballgames at once... takes the edge off the one you're most interested in. My $.02

2003 90 Johnson, never has failed me. Used to own a 1987 70 Evinrude. Had that thing for over 20 years. Ran good even when I sold it 5 years ago.

My vote for Yamaha just put it in first.
I must say, I have a little Mercury 15 carburated 4 stroke that has been run very hard for years and has never given me a problem. I think I liked it better when motors were simple.
