Welcome Pipefitter.

Glad you decided to join up.
I can tell you I love the plane and ride of the DLV. Sure it will get you wet in a chop, don't let anyone try to fool you. But than again my buddy's got a 34' SeaVee and if it's the right chop, you'll get wet on that too.

If you decide to get one, sounds like you'll be the first on the block to have it..... ;D

Thanks Again for signing up, & welcome.

Bet your butt,
Lets see, Yeargin, P.I.C., Jackson metal fab shop, been in every shop from SMI-Gaston copper-almost every saw mill from N.C. to Ga. Oh, and MSI (many sick indiviguals), Becon, horizon steel, I did @ 87% of the electrical welding for the UPS hub, SRS,CCC, I welded the tallest tower at the o2 plant on 26 south of cola, been in eastover paper (Good story here), owens joice, the ****plant off 77, and a host of others, Jacobs applied in orangeburg, and on and on and on...why? If you ever been on the same job as me, you'd know me fer shure, name is Reggie Conklin, and your's????
Heck, I ACCIDENTLY set fire to 2 hoses that SMI had stored outside on the ground, wrapped in burlap BTW, something like 30 grand each, guess who didn't get a raise on that job? Some folks just don't happen to have a sence of humor........ especially when a good bit of bucks are involved.(sorry so and sos)
If you were a white hat or craftsman in the biz , you know me or folks around you know me. Seems I was pretty dang good, thats why I stuck around here, I LOVE the folks here (from WY originally), I LOVE the BBQ here, I LOVE the fishin here, salt or fresh, 20 min from fresh, 2 hrs from salt and shrimp (how many folks on here can do a 6# largemouth, and the next day be gettin pomps off the surf, gettin free shrimp too???) AND the CRABS!!!!!!!! Just tried the garlic crab , now for a wyoming redneck (bull ridin, fence ridin, goat herden redneck, make NO mistake 'bout that, fresh milk drinkin, hay balin, can't spellin, true to life cowboy/redneck, and YES, I still have my grey stetson, cowboy boots and ridin' slicker) them blue crabs are a bit of a pain to eat, guess I need help on just how to "peel 'em out" so the next one is still warm....
A work in progress, I assure you...

I have learned what low country sauce is, how to make it and how to make it "better", I LOVE my vinegar base on my pork and my mustard base on my chickin, an I been told that my BBQ kicks butt for S.C. AND Ga, I really ain't met many folk that share my enthusisam fer cookin a pig, an 80+ year old from Wayne County, Ga taught me the "fixins" of "basics" on cookin a hog, and to his honor, I still do most of it the "Mr. Williams" way. The man probbably been dead for 20 years now, and his tecknik still makes @ 3-500 folks happy every year, last time I did boston butts was 24 packs, at 2 per pak, for a model airplane fly in.
I LOVE SOUTH CAROLINA!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you'd like to taste my BBQ, we are having a "fly in" in Camden in Sept, or MABE..... I could get you up here to cpt my skiff (wife can't pull back into the dock, I OVERLOOKED teaching her how to do it :o ) so I can at least try to fish,or I'll stay at home and do a boston butt while you "teach" her how to bring "her" boat in. I can't do any "fast-reaction" with 1 arm, so I am REAL hesistant to teach right now, and for the next 6 months too.
So , if ya ain't capt a 2180DLX w/115yammy 4 strk, here's yer chance, take 'er or leave 'er. Send me a PM with your phone # or PM me an I'll give you mine an we'll git together. And to boot, the tag says 16 people, I've had 9 in her, a little sluggish then, but 9 FOLKS, game & fish THOUGHT they had something, but the tables got turned, I've seen 9 on a pontoon, but not in a fishin boat.
So what ya say pard, ya goin ta let the horse go by, or ya up fer a ride???????????????????? 8)
