Saturday I picked up some shrimps at the Fresh Market and used 1stSarge's garlic/shrimp recipe.

I threw them on some pasta tossed in EVOO and added a few calamati olives and some grated parmesano reggiano cheese. Good eats!

i smoked a whole chicken yesterday. injected the bird with some blackberry wine and let sit with a dry rub on the skin. rubbed her down with some olive oil and on the smoker she went for 5 hours. also did some sweet potatoes at the same time. i got the smoker going and the food in 10 minutes before the down poor of rain hit. talk about timing!

I did the southern thing with my fish this past weekend. Spotted bass fillets rolled in Paul Prudhomme's magic breading and deep fried golden brown. Fresh home made coleslaw and veggies. Yum yum

Now thats more like it, we all need to eat, my latest fish was take some salmon ( frozen ), finely chop or grind up some dry roasted almond, coat the salmon with the almonds and place it into a pan with some evoo and then drizzle honey onto it.....turn it over and do the honey thing to that side, when its just about done, place a few peeled, deviened butterflied shrimp into the pan and mix them into the oil, let them get hot, and serve over some brown long grain rice with some vegies thrown in for good measure............. thumbsup thumbsup....Willie 017 014

Best garlic shrimp I ever had was from Rota,Spain
place one pound shrimp (peeled, tails off) in an oven safe dish, slice numerous cloves of garlic on top then soak with EVOO. Bake till shrimp done.
Remove shrimp, enjoy garlic and olive oil with crusty bread, oh ya, eat the shrimp too. usually ordered as an appitizer
