Kiawah Island - Need info!

I have an opportunity to go to Kiawah the week after father's day. It's free lodging and If I do go I'd be taking the skiff with me. I don't know one gosh darn thing about the place except it's kind of an "exclusive" richie type place... which is out of character for me as I'd never plan on going there intentionally. With all that being said I need to know some of the fundamental things for fishing off the skiff... you know local marinas, good fishing holes, short term fishing license info for SC, and anything else that comes to mind. Is this crazy? Should I feign a major project at work and spend my vacation somewhere else ???

I'm relying on you guys to help me out here before I get over committed. 018
