I recived my trollong motor plug and noticed it had a ground/ common and two positive leads. Would that be one lead for each batt in a 24 volt system ?
Darn and if so I will need two breakers. I thought the batt's were just run together
to produce 24 volts and never ocured that you had to catch both positive sides.
ok i'm realy confused have not recived t/motor yet soon I hope lol , boat too would be nice any way it's a minkota riptide 24v 80 lb st cp ap somthing like that any way.

Connectpro is by Marinco, I have the Minn Kota branded version at home but it didn't come with wires already attached. I have the instructions and will post either a scan or step by step later if no one else does it first. Anyway, one positive is for use with 12V and the other is for 24V. Even though the instructions specify which pin is which that is only done for standardization and in theory you could use either positive wire to run your motor. Just connect your batteries together in series with the plug wires connected to the pos terminal on one battery and the neg terminal on the other.

009 Found the manufacturer's instructions online. http://www.marinco.com/docs/inst/200929.pdf 009
