Took my new to me 17' V series skiff out to the chesapeake bay bridge tunnel today and found out exactly how she does in "rough seas". Wind was out of the SW waves were 1-2 and spray was flying all over the boat. Definately a wet ride. Fished from the 1st to the 3rd and managed 3 fish 19-21". Lost another at the side of the boat. All caught casting, no bites on the troll. All in all a good day, great weather, and got to find out exactly how she preforms when it gets a little bumpy. Needless to say I wont be doin that every weekend, will definately stick more to the inlets and rivers.

Thats a pretty small ride for the CBBT, stay safe out there.

gotta pick and choose your days on the bay at all times. we have thaken the 14' v bottom to the bay several times. the 17' can handle it, but i too would prefer the 19'.
