Ok folks, about to pull my hair out here, I have made taglines for years before OSHA came out with "better ways". Tagline had a loop on one end , and about the last 6" of the other end braided back onto itself .
As usuall, I am soliciting input from anybody willing to share. 018

Its pretty straightforward once you get it going. Just make sure you are splicing 3 strand rope!

Got a cub scout or boy scout hand book around? they have a great pictures on how to do this!
come to think of it that is how I learned to make the knot in my tie
