I thought the same thing Shake 008 Heard about it many years ago but never tried it. I have on occasion, placed a cold (from the cooler) sandwich on the dash on a sunny day to heat it up, melt the cheese and all. That works pretty good if you don't particularly like cold samiches.

I do a lot of grilling too and prefer wood coals for heat but a few years back I burned up my last wood burning grill and have since replaced it with a custom gas pig cooker, just big enough for a 60 lb (head on) pig or a 100 lb (head chopped off) one. I sometimes load it up with whole pork loins or shoulders, or maybe a dozen or so split yardbirds. I've also got another, smaller gas grill that's suitable for smaller get-togethers – a few steaks, burgers, and tubesteaks for the kids kind of stuff. I probably do 95 percent of the cooking around this household and I grill ‘bout every chance I get. Wife doesn't like to cook but she doesn't mind doing the dishes and clean-up ;D ;D ;D

If we can ever (all) get together someday, maybe we could have a little cook-off comp or something 012

Frog gigging is a lot of fun too. I remember dad taking me and a cousin on a airboat ride with uncle Joe. We came home with a sack full of them wrigglin buggers - learned why burlap gets called a "croaker sack."

1. frog legs 2. butter (lower heat not to burn butter) 3. White wine (Blue Nun or such) 4. capers (green pea lookin thing)

Heat butter and capers, (no skin or footsies on legs) toss in legs, go for a light gold color, a few splashes of white wine as the legs finnish, they will turn white and can easily be overcooked, also the legs won't turn any browner (or shouldn't) because the wine cools em down a bit and kinda "steams-in". Cooks a lot faster than chickin. or marinade with wine and capers and throw on grill. I do believe that they "low colorestrial" too. Just ain't much fat on a frog leg.
Sweeter than chickin, IMHO,
Ya got frogs there Willie? if not you can probbably buy them legs.

Willie,

What is a growler? Sounds cool...

Sportskiff,

Mmmm, Mmmm sounds good to me. I'll over look the butters cholesterol since I can smell it cookin' from here. About how long does it take to cook? Measured in number of glasses of blue nun. Oh, and one more thing, what times dinner at your house??? ;D

A growler is a bottle from a brewery that holds about 64 oz of fresh draft beer. You buy them at the place and for about $6.00 or $7.00 you take the empty bottle back and they refill it for you. The unopened bottle will last about a week + or - in the fridge and not loose its fizzzzz once you open it it will stay fresh about 48 hours or so... gives you some nice draft beer at home...........I will post a picture of one later, real nice bottle Willie
