That means you probably made it by 5. I hope you got a chance to sleep some. You'll feel worthless otherwise. Next problem will be where to sleep with the new baby in tow. You'll need a padlock and a hammock...

Very windy here this AM. How's it there?

LOL,
That's a funny report. NEM is the CSO road reporter ... ROTFLMAO

So if like Big Will says you get there by 5 AM, you told me you planned on getting the boat early today and head straight back. You plan on sleeping at all 006

I know you told me you have another driver with you, becareful man ....

We had hard rain and heavy winds all night (my phone rang all night for call outs, but I took the wife out for some cocktails and was in no shape to work)

Did you have to drive through all that mess all night clonk
Now it is cloudy & calm. They're calling for a wind advisory from now until 8 PM . Looks as if the bad weather followed you down and back again .... 001

It's 8:10 PM ,
I saw your post, so I called him. He's at exit 3 on the Jersey Turnpike. He said the weather sucks and there's accident all over the place. He's been stuck in traffic for an hour or two, WELCOME TO NJ 004

Anyway he said to let everyone know he's ok, and needs another 2 hours to get home.

What a great CSO family we have worrying about everyone, and even inviting him to lay over if he needed a place to crash ... thumbsup

He's going to end up sleeping all day tomorrow and have no time to play with the new boat. Going to have to call in sick a few days next week to be able to check out what he bought. ROTFLMAO
Hope you make it home O.K. 012 Gregg

Guys, thank you very much for your concern.I got at Chatlee 5:15 a.m and woke up 8:00 when Nat, my salesman, was getting ready to knock on my window. My cousin was sleeping, so i left him in the car, went with Mike for a ride in the Chatlee lake then went to office, gave them the check and i was out by 8:40.Now that WAS fast.I checked all my vin numbers to make sure i don't have a problem. At this time my cousin woke up .I followed the guy who trailed my boat to VA state line, i forgot his name, but very good guy, he gave me some pointers for the trip and i was gone.I drove my self the whole way home, my cousin came for the ride and to keep me awake, but he slept a good 6 hours on the way back. It's o.k, he's a NYCPO and was working none stop for two days, so he needed to sleep. When i got home i realized i did not get coast guard kit, so i'm calling Chatlee tomorrow.Overall the experience with them was great and very fast.I will post some pictures on my over thread "BOAT IS IN". By the way i woke up 5 p.m this afternoon. :o 012 012 012 012

Glad to hear your experience with Chatlees was good. I am waiting on the call to say mine is ready, and I'll be off on a similar run, just coming from a different direction. Probably will go up on a Friday and pick it up Saturday just like you. I've got a 500 mile trip up I-95. (Does anybody else hate I-95 as much a me?) Anyway, glad you had a good trip and experience. Post some pics of that new rig so we can all give her the once over.

Thank you redfish, pictures are up on the "boat is in" thread.I also did 537 miles to go and get her, in pouring rain coming back. One thing, make sure you get the coast guard kit, they forgot to give it to me, they can ship out everything but the flares, so make sure you get it.

We'll get it. I thought the CG kit was a nice extra. Weather was bad down here too. We got over 3 inches of rain and it turned off cold again--well, relatively speaking. It was 29 Sunday morning. Hope I can make my trip in the dry.
