Looks like a great boat partner! If you could only figure out a way to get her to pitch in for gas.....

That a great crabbin buddy... looks like somebody is waiting on the next crab.

My fishing buddy just checks out the boat and then curls up into a ball on the front deck with sad eyes saying when is this going to be over!!

My fishing buddy, a husky, ate a fish, well not exactly, but he did a number on that fish, on our first fishing trip with him.

It is painfull when you loose a "best friend", my cousin had to put to sleep his dog, and the poor guy, you couldn't talk to him for weeks.

This one doesn't care too much for crabbin cause one got her ear once, she just loves to sit up there and go for a slow ride............ 017

We had to put our friend Partner down a couple of years ago. We miss him terribly every day. We never got another dog, but a stray cat adopted us a couple months ago. We named her Chelsea (after our street, not Clinton) and she follows me everywhere. When I go down to the barn to work on the boat she's right behind me. She started as an outside cat, but has changed her mind in the colder weather. Sleeps in bed with us most nights.

The husky is too hairy and sheds a lot, besides my wife is alergic to dogs with fur.So he can't come to bed. ;D
The little pooch does. She has hair, not fur.(oops, i was talking about the little dog, not my wife) ;D

This was my old girl. Had to put her down last week, 16 years old and loved the water. Gonna miss her for a very long time.

Sorry for the size. That's the last good pic I've got of her and I don't want to resize it on photobucket.

Mods, delete if you think you need too.

Here's our beagle, Lilly. This was on the way back to the boat ramp after fishing all day.

if only she had opposible thumbs! then she could feed herself and get rid of us humans. she also enjoys sitting up high so she can see everything going on. last weekend we saw a couple wild hogs walking along the bank next to the boat, she almost jumped in the water to go after them!
