The boat they had in stock had the deck track in the floor and rails. And had been sitting on the lot uncovered for about 6 to 8 months. I didn't want this so here is the new boat that I ordered. ;D

2008 238DLV
150 Honda w/ stainless prop
Wesco aluminum tandem trailer w/ brakes
hydraulic steering
27 gal tank
fuel/water separator
DLX console
8 ft bimini top (dang it, I forgot to tell them what color, 001 have to call tomorrow)
Minn Kota Riptide 80/ST/CP/AP trolling motor
Lowrance LMS-522c FF/GPS
Dual Pro 3-bank onboard charger
2 trolling batteries

I'm gonna rig the trolling motor, fishfinder, and charger myself. I ordered them with the boat so I could finance all together. Got a good deal on them too! thumbsup

Hogtown, Just curious... what made you decide on the DLX vs XL console?

Shakespeare, I liked the little extra walk around room and the rod holders on the DLX console. I think I'll mount the Lowrance on the top right. Some sort of tray or cupholders top left. The stereo and VHF will be flush mounted on the vertical surface above the bottom opening. (Disclaimer: Note that this is all preliminary and subject to change ;D ;D )

NOTE, a little pointer for the vhf position you mention.I had done that on my grady 306, BIG mistake, every time some goes thru, or in rough seas, they were changing channel or switch off or squelch knob was turned.Never again for me.

Thanks, NEM. I thought about that. That's the exact reason I added the dislclaimer above. ;D Won't make any final plans until the goods are sitting in my driveway. 012

Craig, Yes all of this stuff is coming from Scott. He gave me a sweet deal on all of the accessories. I'm doing the installation myself. Scott seems to be a good guy to deal with.
