New to the forum.
Glad I could find one.

I am on my second skiff. Both Semi -V

first one was 19' with 50 yamaha. I loved it, and used it alot. It was a little under powered. but I could fish all day on 6 gallons of fuel. it would travel about 40 miles on that 6 gallons.

My son started wakeboarding, so I sold it and bought a wakeboard boat. ( Mastercraft ) still have it.

Just purchased a used 2003 17' semi V w/ 70 yamaha it is Imaculate. been used about 7 times. took it out this weekend.

Am going to have to replace the throttle and gear linkage. ( very stiff ) probably from little use. the steering was a little stiff, but some grease fixed that mostly.

Look forward to being a member of the forum, have been a member of TMCowners.com ( mastercraft ) for along time. and have gotten lots of info off there.

Sounds like you're from Gator Country too. I fish a lot just south of your stompin ground--Shired Island, Suwannee, Shell Mound, etc. Skinny water-- will run her up aground hard if you ain't careful. Glad to have you aboard. You will learn a lot about Skiffs here. Great site, good people.
