Went offshore yesterday and we mugged them. We arrived at the Lindekol canyon @ 7 am to find flat seas and a LOT of birds crashing like a striper blitz*003* Figured this was it !!!
Set out our lines and quickly hooked up with a 30# YFT.*rod*
Trolled on with no luck for the next 1-2hrs. Headed over to the Spencer and got covered up with 4 rods going off*thumbsup* Only had 3 people on board and lost the one in the rod holder and broke one off. Managed (2) 50 pounders out of that blitz. Cleaned up the blood and got reset.
If we found the skippies we found the tuna. Nice day and didn't lose a fish the rest of the day. Released 2 smaller fish and bought 7 home.
