I've got a 12' Sea Nymph that's awesome with my 10hp Johnson Seahorse (1953 model) on the back. She jumps right on plane. However, most of time it uses a Minn Kota 36 instead. It's great for fishing small lakes, but I've had it out in the Roanoke Sound on NC's Outer Banks.
Then I've got a 1986 Rinker Wedge 15' with a 140 Mercruiser I/O. This will be for sale as soon as the weather warms up a little. Nice boat, but not what I want for fishing down on the coast. The floors getting a little soft too.
I also had a SCAT hovercraft, but I sold it last year. Flew it around the yard once, never got on the water.
009 I'll post some pictures after I sign up with photobucket. Maybe tomorrow, it's past my bedtime! ;D

My other boat is a 2005 Sweetwater FC180 pontoon. It's basically like putting an outboard on your living room set. I have it decked out for bass and speck fishing. It's very comfortable and is a great all around boat for lake cruising and fishing. It does however require a certain amount of care and upkeep which makes it somewhat of a PITA. I have no trailer for it so it stays in the water in the Clermont, FL chain of lakes. The skiff is my go anywhere, fish anywhere, always ready, no fuss, lets get out on the water, come home rinse it off, and you're done boat!

I wish. ROTFLMAO Mine is the little one docked next to my brother driving his R/C boat. I'm not sure what the one across the creek is. It's not real new because that photo was taken about 3 years ago. I can look at the full resolution picture when I get home from work and maybe tell you what brand it is. BTW, the boat behind the bush I think is a Parker.

That's ok I can tell it's a Buddy Davis by the bow flare. www.banddboatworks.com
They have made about 50 of those hulls since 2003 I think. Now they have a new 34' cc/cuddy that looks like a battlefish of Center Consoles.

Loki- i had decided on a 198 DLX and was getting the money together to go and buy one when a good family friend said he would sell his Sea Ark real cheap. i bought it for less than 1/2 what i would have paid for the DLX. i am liking the idea of an aluminum boat more and more. it makes it nice fishing the shallow oyster/rock bars not worrying about dragging bottom. so my next skiff purchase has just been put on hold for awhile. the next boat i buy might be a 238 DLV or even the 258. since i have a good rigged inshore boat, i'm thinking of getting one that is capable of running offshore. 015
360', 80,000HP, runs forever on a tank of fuel. Oh ya, it has about 268 cup holders.

Man Brian, that is one awesome boat! Can you give us any numbers on it?
Thanks Loki. 018 It's a 2007 Ranger Z20. It's 20 ft 5 in long. The beam is 95". Bob's 10" hydraulic jackplate. SRS (Soft Ride Seats, shocks in the seats, that ones for dad thumbsup) I have a Lowrance 135X on the bow and a 520C GPS on the console. I have the 8 ft Power Pole with wireless remotes. (The 218 Elite will have that too) Ranger builds their own trailers. Torsion axles, oil bath hubs, disc brakes, Road Armor coating. It's like a bedliner material, but it looks and feels like paint. It's amazing how many "firsts" Ranger has done over 40 years. Check out their web site. 2008 marks their 40th year in business. They have some really cool "flashback" pictures and videos. I bought it from Northlake Marine down on Lake Okeechobee. It's about a 2.5 hour drive one way for me. I have bought all my Rangers from them. It's like they are family. I think it's really hard to find people like that anymore. Speed wise the best # I've seen on GPS is 69.9 MPH. (I don't really care about speed anymore) That number was with me and my dad 30 gals of fuel, Mercury Temptest 25 pitch 3 blade prop, slight chop on the water and half of Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's in the boat. ROTFLMAO I like running that boat. I have at least 6 trips at 70 plus miles each day. It rides so smooth. The Etec is awesome. Price wise...well, let's just say I could have a fleet of C/S boats! 001
**I'd like to take a chance to ask any of you that have not donated to the site please think about doing it. I think we all have benefited from the information on here.** 012

hey
Thanks SI....It aint real fancy like some but it works for Me...I put some nice kuryakin(I cant Spell) Grips...Mirrors and finger levers plus a realy nice chrome tach mount between the bars and windshield with a matching mini tach came out nice...I have some chrome caliper and rotor covers to put on the front(I call them my Baby Moons..lol) and I will be done with it..I also put chrome shock covers and air lines and a chrome pully cover...had a stainless steel rear rotor...but it wouldnt fit when I changed pads so I left the old nasty one on...I plan on putting wide whitewalls on it when the tires wear out maybe than Ill change the rotor...Between it and the skiff its too much stuff to do when your lazy as I am...lol...I would rather be bank fishing with the 7 year old....Hey I like that Indian you have....Iam glad to here they are coming back again...To many cheap plastic rice burners out there for me...I think I might just have opened a can of worms...lmffao...It was realy hard for me to buy a Yamaha outboard...Looked real hard at Bombadier...But realy glad I got the Yamaha...Later...BoogieBlues

Boogie,
Like you my Indian is far from stock; besides cam-a couple ofther secrets to the S&S that I like to keep under my hat, custom paint, braided cables, all the bags are www.bossbags.com (http://www.bossbags.com), lowed 2", hooker headers, 2 inch over pegs, etc, etc. As I get oldrer my hobbies sure get more expensive!...But I love being in the wind; seems the two hobbies keep me that way. It's nice to have the choice of no helmet in SC. Ride safe!

thanks Bob,
she's a 22 O'Day weekender and I am sorry to say she's on the blocks and hasn't seen water in two years. Both of my children wanted to crab, fish, and tube and spent all their time on board the sailboat wondering if we were there yet... any true sailer knows that when you board a sailboat you are already where you want to get! thinking of making a donation of her to a needy scout camp or other charity camp that wants to sail.

14' Canoe for the backyard lake. Lake not big enough for powerboats. The other boat is not mine, but I crewed on it racing for many years, so I know her from stem to stern. That's me waving at the helicopter. We won the cruising class in that race in 2006.

My "other" boat is an Emotion Fisherman kayak presented to me by the Host and Producers of Addictive Fishing TV for being the "Mogan Maniac" of the year, (aka: an avid fan of the show) and inspiring one of their shows with some fishing reports I posted on their forum of some grouper I found holding in shallow water (talking 3 to 4 feet deep, 30 feet from shore) and catching them while wade fishing.
This pic was taken in Ft Pierce last year at one of our gatherings.

My other boat is a custom 19'8" sea kayak I designed and built about 1985. With a straight keel and deep V bottom, it tracks like it's on rails, and is set up for being towed with a parafoil kite that my wife made for me. Turns good if leaned up on it's gunnel. Built in foot pump let's me keep paddling without worrying about water coming in around the spray skirt, in rough water. I have a photo of it in my album

I only own one boat in addition to my skiff: a Lowe 1440M aluminum jon that I use on ponds and small lakes where I can't launch something as big as the skiff. I run a 30lb Minn Kota Endura transom mount trolling motor for main propulsion and that is generally sufficient for fishing the small bodies of water where i use this boat.
