Harry,
Since you have nothing else to do Sunday afternoon.
Have you noticed that posts to the Pirates Den show up on the Home page. Means we have to be careful what we post. Can posts to the Pirates Den be kept in the Pirates Den?
Thanks,
Aubrey
Shaggy, they only show up for CSO supporters. A regular member would never see those posts.

Finally had a break in the on / off thunderstorms and got out on the water today. Didn't catch a thing but it's just nice to be out there. Water was muddy from the rain, and full of debris from the storms, but I love it out there anyway! A little too much wind and chop for the south end (deep end) of the lake today, so I cruised Kickapoo Creek and saw lots of others doing the same thing - nobody catching much of anything.
I know some northerners envy those of us that live in Texas and can boat all year, but it gets so hot and humid here in the summer that it's frequently just too much hassle to hook up, launch, retrieve, clean, back into the garage, etc. When I had the trike I got so it never took it out in July or August. You just step outside, don't move, and start to sweat.
I'll still take this over snow, though!

I loved it when I first got here. I think my increasing years are reducing my tolerance to the heat - and especially the humidity.
But I'm looking forward to just rolling off the side of the boat this summer to cool off (and hope one of those 300+ pound alligator gar isn't in the neighborhood and hungry) 017
