Took 35 Wounded Warrior's out yesterday on 17 boats, out of Fort Washington Marina, to spent some time on the water chasing down Monster blue cats. Kerri Leigh caught big fish for day 50.5lber, making for a very happy young lady, her biggest fish ever prior about 16lb.

FYI rock are on the move a 36lber and 18lber were caught by our group on cut gizzard shad.

Hi Dave
Thanks, and thanks for asking about us. I am the tournament director for the Maryland Chapter of The Catfish Nation. We are group of cat fishermen about 500 members spread across the United States. We have 4 Chapters including MD, VA, WV and PA that hold a small catfish tournament trail monthly. We are about friendships, comrodity and helping others learn about cat fishing. All our torny’s are CPR , so others can enjoy a catch of a life time.
This is MD 4th year for our Wounded Warrior Program that our members volunteer their time and boats for a day to get some of our American Hero’s out on the river chasing down some of the hawgs pictured.
Just a small token on our part, in appreciation of what these men and women do for us, and the country. I’ve seen a lot of friendships made at these events, and for me to just to be a part of these events is so self-gratifying , it’s beyond words. This past weekend was our largest turn out 35 WW from Fort Meade, MD and Quantico, VA, taken out on 17 boats, believe we are trying to get another one together this fall. Check out the slideshow the smiles , tell it all.

That's super, what y'all are doing HFF! I spent some time on the site, until I was blocked for not being a member *kickrock* You appear to have a bunch of folks there who genuinely care and are, or want, to be active in your WW program. I'm waiting on a reply from the site administrators so I can get back in and look over the program some more. Didn't see anywhere for me to donate to the cause, but once I get registered on the CFN site, I'll try and send you an email.

Nice video of this year's event! As one vet who cares about the many others, thank you for showing your concern and appreciation, by your initiative and leadership and by all the other active participants... sure looks like everyone had a grand time of it (HOOT!) *yay*
