I'm headin' down in a week to try my luck. Anybody have any recommendations for the St. Joe Bay area would be much appreciated. By the way, nice Cobia Chumhead....really awesome!

By all reports, the Spanish Mackerel are in now. I have been hearing some pretty good catches.

Get you some 0 and 00 Clark Spoons, 30 mono for leader, and various trolling sinkers. I have been hearing the 10 to 12 foot depth is where the bigger ones are so match your weight accordingly.

You can run a Mackerel tree too. You can find them premade at most bait and tackle stores.

Find the birds crashing the bait, and you will find the Mackerel there too.

The trout reports have been good too, but the redfish are a little slow.

Good Luck......
