Learned a couple things today. The flounder are starting to bite with the water temps rising and don't bring my boston terrier Lili with me. Went out yesterday but about 5 minutes out the motor died like it ran out of gas. Made it back in by keeping the gas bubble (correction primer bulb) pumped. The connection at the motor had started leaking and was letting the motor suck air and not enough fuel. Got a new connection and went today to try it out and brought the poles. Just a couple hundred yards from the launch I caught 6 flounder and one 21" red. The wind was howling so I didn't stay long. The motor worked great though. Oh and one more thing, the cokes still tasted good.

LOVE flounder reports. Thanks!! Glad you made it back to shore too.
We're still waiting for our flounder rules & regs to be approved. Looks like it might be around the middle of May. I'm hoping earlier. That's when the big boys roll into the skinny water. Actually sooner but well never see an April season start date anytime soon, if ever. I use that time for practice fishingsmilie*.
So who's coming to south jersey in May? I have plenty of room......
Me too, even if they are from LA rotflmao Hey lesgeaux, what's the water temp there now and how deep a water you catchin' 'em in, if you don't mind sayin'?

I was fishing a point at the entrance to a cut in 1 to 3ft. Water temp at that area was 69 where other areas around were 60 to 65.
Thanks, Brother... keep the reports coming *Cheers*
