Don't tell me you all are fishing .... 006 :'( :'(
If the 50th anniversary of the Dayton 500 wasn't being run today, I would be out on the water right now. instead I am sitting at home eating steak and shrimp. ;D

Just got in from riding in the boat. Water was so clear and blue. Air temp was 74 degrees. Nice to live at the beach. 018 018 018

The wife and kids are out of town for a few days and I am spending quality time in the garage putting the boat together. I do one thing, then I have to get back on here for instructions on how to do the next project. It's not quite that bad, but I'm very uneducated on the electrical aspects of rigging, and fiberglassing is a new one for me as well. This site has a wealth of information for the inexperienced do-it-yourselfer.

Home doin' honey-dos. Went fishin' yesterday. East wind had the tide out. High tide was only a half tide. Still had a good time. Found a few new rocks and navigated some personally uncharted areas. Should've went East to the back country. Didn't see a single red were I was.

Where you been all WEEK Loki? I don't care for the rest of the bunch but I do try to pull for Jr. If not him, I like Tony. thumbsup
Like I said, THIS RACE! It's great that JR ran good all week, but this is Sunday, when it counts! Like you I pull for JR and Tony, in that order.

Spend the weekend in Long Island. WOW I walked around most of the time outside in short sleves. Sunday Family Party. Great Time!, but Saturday after getting there from Pa. I spent the time shopping boats. Got to two CS dearlers.
The 1st place was no help, which is good because I got to see all the boats without someone wanting to sell me something.
The second place I didn't even know they sold CS. I just happen to look in the this place because it was where my Dad brought his first new boat more than 35 years ago.
There on the floor was a 21DLV with a 115 hp looked great. asked the guy how much, good price , he left me and I walked out. Then I saw a 17Dlv behind a fence. The guy reappeared and we talked. Next thing you know I'm on His 19 DLX going for a ride.
I learned alot about how these boats handled. I'm hooked!!!! Now where do I get the money?? I guess I start selling off the other boats I have.

i wish i had been fishing, instead i was in bed all weekend with a stomach flu. i've only had one solid meal since thursday. i did get to watch the 500 though, i think NASCAR finally got the car right with this new one. they were running very stable in traffic, seems to be a big improvement over years past when they've changed things around.

I was pulling for Jr. but at the end all of his drafting partners with Hendrick were in the Garage. Thought Stewart was going to win that thing. Where did Newman and Bush come from? The last time we saw Bush he was running through the grass at the mid point of the race. Glad to have NASCAR back. The COT looked good on the Super Speedway. Can't wait to have them at Talledega in April. Going to be an exciting year. 011

As for the race, the way I saw it was if stewart had of stayed up top and blocked newman, then Kyle bush could have won the race or they would have pushed him across the finish line. Kyle had the fastest car all day. I just couldn't understand why tony dropped down and let them by.

Flboy3,
From what was said on the radio during a caution between Stewart and Kyle Bush it did not surprise me that Tony stayed down low. Tony told him with 10 laps to go that he could not run as well up high. He took his chances down low and it cost him. If Kyle was in front of Tony, Kyle wins the race on the bottom. That is how great his car was all day. I love the superspeedway races always down to the last turn. 003 021

The way I see it if Kyle had stayed out of the way Junior would have been in atleast 4th place.
