Easy for you to say but the water here is hard water now and with the sun down the temp is really cold to be on the ice. 009

TooTall.

All you need are tip-ups and a auger, probably a warm coat too. I got some in storage if you need some. ;D

looked up where you live....that's a big boat for that far inshore....I can see there is big water in some of those near by lakes.... do you fish the coast too.

I love my saltwater but love those bass and crappie. have you ever made and sunk sturcture in freshwater?
Looking on a couple of designs for crappie now.
hoping to make a trip down to coast this early spring maybe I could route myself to the mountains and pickup interstate 81 to go home so I can see some of the big water lakes out by you.

Guys,
Lets try to keep these posts from being hi-jacked and going off course ... 021

turpintime,
Welcome to the #1 rated CS message board on the web. You should find all the info you need to transform your buddies EX skiff into your new baby !!

Most of the members here are long time skiff users and are full of idea's for things that work and things that don't, on rigging your skiff. Post your question in the forums and you'll get an ear full of answers.

Hi turpintime, welcome aboard. I see you are in northeast FL. Jax? St. Augustine? I'm in Orlando and can usually be found fishing on the east coast. Indian and Banana rivers, offshore of Port Canaveral. If you are ever in this area, look me up.
