Thanks to everyone for their help on my post needing help with electrical hookups. I have ordered my 8 gage duplex wire from Bestboatwire.com and couldn't believe the savings over westmarine.
West Marine- 8 gage duplex tinned wire- 5.49 per ft. 8 gage primary single - 2.79 per ft.
Bestboatwire.com - 8 gage duplex tinned wire - 1.54 per ft 8 gage primary single - .60 per ft.
Thanks to o2bfishn for that link.
Another question - I want to use a unfused buss bar because I will be installing a fuse at the battery on the 8 gage poss lead and all my electronics have inline fuses also, so I see no need to add a third fuse in the line. The buss bar that I am looking at is a blueseas buss bar like this http://bluesea.com/category/9/35/products/2314 My question to someone is that this buss bar has no max gage wire usage for this buss bar. How would I know if this is sufficiant for 8 gage wire. I plan on useing 2 5 post bar's, one for poss and one for neg.
