I have a pretty tight spot to park my boat in and it's dark too. I started looking for some backup lights for my trailer and came across these;

from http://www.pipe-light.com/index.php. They show a white/clear version on their sire but there's no way to order it so I just ordered the housing and will pick up a couple of white lights and grommets to put in them. They'll look like this when I'm finished;

Anyone else tried these and do they work OK?

Here's where they sell the white lightand grommet for the housing. Kind of pricey but if it works. BTW, I used a couple of 55 w halogen road lights for my back-up add-ons. $9.95 each on sale at the offshore tool store.

tarpleyg,
I think you're going to like having those lights. I don't have any on my trailer, but I do have to back my truck up a dark, wooded road. I hooked up a set of back-up lights, wired into my reverse lights, and it makes backing up in the dark much better! No more waiting for a CRUNCH!
