Hey to all my fellow Texan CS Owners, is there a club or something for any of us living on the Galveston or Texas coasts that I can hook up with? I love this website it seems like most are in the east coast. There has to be something for us in Texas to be part of.

I am so ready to get back on the bay. I have only had the new skiff out twice and have been making modifications. Twice I looked up from the console while working only to see birds working the water 100 yds away. I am fighting the urge to get out there and am determined to get most modifications completed first. I cannot wait to try thenew stuff (trolling motor, shallow water anchor, livewell timer, bait tank mounted bubbler, fishfinder, rod holders, built in tackle hatch, glove box, extra agm batteries, built in dual charger)
I am pumped and ready to fish. All my other boats were tube pullers that you could make fish. I have never had a fishing boat that is going to be set up like this one.
I have never fished with a trolling motor but am real excited to try it. Chasing birds will be much fun. Very Hard in a Kayak which is my other boat.*rod*

Cooler,
That sure is a nice rig you have there*Cheers* And you better get her wet quick to keep up with the bird action! LOL, I mainly wade west bay, but when i take the boat it is in East bay or sabine, and i was in sabine not too long ago, sure was good!!
I finish up football tomorow night and if i can get the wife to let me leave the house i will be out there VERY SOON!!!

I will be at work putting up football pads unfortunatly.
But if the wind lays down it should be good, the flounder are on fire right now (ALTHOUGH ONLY 2 LIMIT) but i have been hearing good reports on them using gulp shrimp, trout should be good as well!
Let me know how you do!!!*rod*
