QUESTION ON 21 FT?

Just to start you guys have been a great help, still shoping but yeasterday I look at 2 ,21 ft one was a 1998 year with 2 50hp yamaha would 1 of thought push that boat ? What up with 2 ,50 on that boat look like more up keep on two motor.Next question the other was 1992 year all it had on the side was Carolina Skiff 21 power buy 115 hp what is the difference if any with the newer modle thank again Andy Thomas.

I'll try. A 21' with a single 50 would flat suck. Way too much boat for 50hp. That said, I've never seen a C.S. with twins. The later one more than likely is rated at or close to 115hp. Well, more than likely they both are rated for 100+ hp. What engine was the 115? The only advantage I can see with twins is for an off shore boat, gives ya a spare to get back home with if you need it or in this case, trying to get enough HP for that big of a boat. 006

I saw a 20 foot plus with twins one time. I couldn't see what they were he was fling by to fast

You know I don't think you could get counter rotatinng engine that small so there willl be a good push ..... which way would it be.... to starboard.
Good platform for off shore only.
Maybe for trolling alot with 2 stroke motors.... in case one get to fouled up you get the other
