Crabbing on the wife's B-day

Yesterday was the wife's birthday. Her wish was to go crabbing after work. Almost full moon and flood high tide, "oh boy, might be tough".
After stopping at a spot and only getting about 6 in an hour, we made a move and wound up with a total of 22 keepers in about 2 hours total before dark.

I stole a page out of MagnumTRex's playbook. I saw him on the same creek we go out in and he had a dozen or so topless traps with 12" pool noodles for floats. He set them out and would run back and forth checking them. Our traps weren't topless, but the noodles worked out GREAT. We only had 6 traps and little time. I get bored anchored and just sitting there.

This works out great and it was like we were a crew from the deadliest catch, she worked the rail,& I ran the boat and barked orders. rotflmao
